My Time with Depression

Hello Everyone,

I've not posted in quite a while now, and I'm so sorry about that, its not just this blog I've neglected my Youtube as well, the only place i have kept up with is my Instagram. I have been dealing with depression for about 2 years now, and since October 2016 i have been in a really bad place with it, it's been fluctuating but when its been bad its been bad. Up until just after Christmas so around middle of Jan, things were okay, they were good all things considered but then things got really difficult in my personal life to the point were it affected my depression so bad i barely left my room or my bed. I completely forgot about my blog completely, and youtube uploads. 

Since i started youtube i have always at some point gone from posting weekly to going a month or two without posting just because I get in such a bad place and a bad way with depression that  i can't even bring myself to even think of video ideas or blog ideas, i have no motivation to film and when i try you can see i'm just not happy at all or that what i'm talking about i've lost all interest in temporarily. The last thing i want is to post negativity on my channel or my blog because they are my happy corners of the internet but i feel like you all need an explanation as to why i just disappear and then reappear for months at a time. Youtube has always been my passion i've always loved it, i speak about this on a video on my channel and i cannot even describe to you how frustrating it is to be in a constant battle with your mind, some of part of me thats holding on to whatever happiness i have left when i'm in a bad place is like tugging on one side of the rope and saying pull yourself out of this you've got all these passions you need to do them and then the depression pulls back and tells me all these negative things and the depression always wins because its stronger, and i end up being pulled back into what seems like at the time a never ending darkness. 

This blog post wasn't for sympathy, or anything like that i have never wanted to go into into detail about my depression i'm just not comfortable to go into a lot of depth about it maybe one day. I just wanted to give you guys a little insight into why i've been so distant and tell you a little a bit about so you can understand it a little bit more. All i ask is that you guys be patient with me i'm slowly getting better but it all takes time, i never would want any of you to feel like this.

YOU ARE NOT ALONE, find someone to talk to or seek help don't do this on your own.

I am hoping to relaunch this blog and my youtube channel fully in the month of May because i miss them and writing this blog and doing my videos, makes me so so happy. I just thought i will write this post explain things and then come back fully in the middle of may so i can get my blog ideas sorted.

Current Beauty Wishlist 2016!

Hello Everyone,

So now that i've shown you the side of me that loves Disney which by the way there will be more of; I thought i should show you all one of my other passions beauty and make-up, i have loved make-up for about 4 years and trust me my skills have came a long way but given it is coming into the festive season (the best season) so many of my favourite brands are coming out with christmas sets so i thought it was the perfect opportunity to do this blog post. So grab yourself a cuppa and a snack as this may be a long one.

1. MAC's Dusky Rose Times Nine Palette - £25

Can we just look at how beautiful this palette is like if i was a palette this would be me, the colours look stunning and i've heard MAC shadows are amazing to blend and for £25 for 9 shadows this is at the top of my wish list.

2. Too Faced Merry Kissmas Set - £25

I have never tried anything from Too Faced before and i have been desperate to try their Melted Lipsticks for about a year but never been able to afford it but now i'm working i'm desperate for it. It comes with 3 melted lipsticks and 1 melted matte which the colour is perfect for at Christmas!

3. Too Faced Born This Way Concealer - £20

If you like watching Youtube which i'm presuming most of you do, you must of heard of this concealer i personally have heard nothing but good things about it and I don't want to sound like posh or anything but i will only used high-end concealers as every drugstore one i've has just done nothing for me and i know by using high-end they will have a higher chance of working! This has been on my list for about 3 months now and its one high-end one i am yet to try.

4. Tartelette in Bloom Palette - £33

 Oh My Gosh, this palette is absolutely stunning you can't deny its beautiful Tarte is a brand i've also been interested in trying for quite some time and again have never been able to afford it but I've wanted this palette for ages and it's gorgeous the colours are just the kind of shades id love to wear and it really reminds me of spring.

5. Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Foundation - £28

So i'm also pretty sure any of you who LOVE Zoella like i do have heard of this foundation during the summer i'm pretty sure it was this was Zoe's favourite foundation. Again i feel the same about drugstore foundations as i do about concealers and this is a foundation i've been very interested to try and the formula and how you apply it really interests me.

6. Hourglass Ambient Lightning Palette - £59

One of the final products is this Ambient Lightning Palette this is such an expensive product but i would love to use this, i've seen load of people use them and their skin just looks flawless this is a purchase that i would have to save up for as i don't think i could bring my self to spend it all at once but its just so stunning. 

7. Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish - £15.50

The last and final product i want to talk about on this post is not a make-up product but a skin care product, now this product i have been desperate to get for so long and again have never had the money to get it but i really want to try this out as i want to improve and take more care of my skin as you only have one skin and you need to take care of it.

The Disney Tag!

So as some of you may know i kinda sorta love disney a lot, i saw a blogpost recently of someone doing a Disney tag and i thought this tag was made for me! It contains 9 questions and i love reading these and finding out what parts of Disney are peoples favourites, so i thought i'll give this a bash. 

1. What's your favourite Disney film?

This is such a hard question for me cause i love most Disney films but if i had to narrow it down it's gotta be 3 classic 90's Disney films which is Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin and The Lion King. I sound so generic but Aladdin is the best for laughs!

2. What Disney Movie's scene would you have loved to of lived?

Again this is a super hard one because honestly i'd love to be in every Disney movie, but i would love to live the scene in Tangled when Rapunzel and Flynn are sat watching the lanterns in the sky and then they let off their own. I think its so sweet and romantic i'd love to be in that moment it would be truly beautiful.

3. If you were a prince who would you be?

If i was a prince i would definitely be a mix of Flynn Rider and Aladdin they are both hilarious and like to take risks and have adventures but also have that down to earth and caring side to them.

4. If you were a princess who would you be?

This is super easy for me i'd be Belle i love reading, i look like her a bit and i also don't people on their exteriors i always focus on whats on the inside. 

5. Who do you look like the most? 

As i said i feel like i look the most like Belle and we have very similar personalities.  Belle likes to be independent and show that just because she's a girl doesn't mean she will be restricted and i am the exact same and i'm very for women's rights.

6. If you could choose a Disney Character to be your friend who would it be?

This is a really hard one but i think if i had too choose i'd love to be friends with Peter Pan and Pocahontas. Peter because its my dream to one the technology to improve and we could all fly everywhere and i feel like we would go on a amazing adventures and Pocahontas because she could teach me how to feel truly free and help me appreciate the world more.

7. A Disney scene that makes you cry every time without fail?

This is an easy one for me without fail i cannot watch Bambi anymore because of the scene when his mother dies and also in the Lion King when Mufassa dies the both make me bawl out crying like Disney no! Why you do this to me.

8. Which Disney film have the you seen the most?

I re-watch a lot of classic 90's Disney movies quite often they are my favourite but I'd say i have watched Aladdin most as i can remember nearly word for word! (Totally not sad at all) 

9.  What's your favourite Disney song? 

This is such a hard one cause i love at least one song from every Disney classic but if i really really had to choose it would be either Prince Ali from Aladdin or Part of Your World from the Little Mermaid or Little Town (Belle) from Beauty and the Beast ugh i really can't choose I'm sorry lovelies.

Back to Blogging!

So after nearly 2 years of not blogging i have decided to bite the bullet and start it up again as i love reading and writing blogs. I have so much planned for this blog, especially in the month of December (hint hint Christmas blog posts) and i'll also being doing Vlogmas on my youtube channel! I've totally changed up the blog from previous and i've tried to get it to look like i want it to as much as i can, but i love disney and i couldn't think of a name so i just went with Disney Princess Grace taking inspiration from one of my favourite Disney instagramer's @disneyprincessbex please go check her out her Instagram is amazing if you love Disney!, even in a blog post i still manage to ramble honestly i'm something else. Anyways Grace getting to the point, this blog is going to be me writing about things i love in the hope you guys can relate they will be things like make-up, beauty, disney, skincare , lifestyle and advice and maybe if your lucky and i succeed at it some baking blog posts because I'm a huge fan of GBBO so i want to try myself this year. I am most excited for my December christmas blogs posts!

I hope you guys did enjoy this first post back and don't think it was too much of a ramble.
